MR2 gear change cables are linked to the gearbox by two rubber bushes.

It is common for these to soften and/or wear with age, resulting in excessive gear lever play and a sloppy gear change.

Unfortunately, Toyota do not supply repelacement bushes on their own - they are only supplied with the cables attached - and are very expensive!

Our gearchange shift cable bearing kit is a high quality, permanent solution.

The rubber bushes are replaced with precision bearings, eliminating all play. The result is a precise, direct gear change.

INSTALLATION

The kit is supplied with all parts necessary and step-by-step instructions. Fitting should take no longer than 30 minutes, and only a few basic tools are required. A simple job for anyone with basic practical skills.
